Hi I’m Emily,
Over the past 18 years I created and developed a successful equine photography business, that was innovative, creative and stood out from the crowd. I was and continue to be one of the leading equine photographers in the country. My business gave me a very nice lifestyle and allowed me to push my creative boundaries day after day. Over the past 6 years I have been building a career in the art world. Exibiting at world class art fairs and being represented by renowned agents. I have sold art globally and within famous circles. My art website is www.emilyhancock.co.uk.
Over the years I have invested hugely in creative, personal and business development and continue to do so. I have been training equine photographers from concept to accrediation for the past 6 years. I continuously drive my businesses to new levels.
I have been awarded the highest accolade, a Fellowship for my fine art equine photography from the British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP) and I was voted South East Photographer of the Year in 2012.
Since being involved in training I have received encouragement and accolades from various clients both professional and amateur with regard to my training courses. I feel proud and privileged to be in a position to pass on my knowledge and experience to other like-minded creative people.
Hi I’m Hannah,
I have been an established equine photographer for the past 10 years. Having adored, ridden and owned horses since I was 3 it was inevitable that whatever my career path, it would involve these incredible animals.
I worked my business up from very little. My first Pro camera was a second-hand Canon 5d mark 1 with a 28-70 lens. I worked my circle of equine friends and grew my business through determination, self-belief and creating work that I am proud to deliver.
I have had 7 magazine front covers, multiple featured and editorial images, commercial campaign images that have been published worldwide and my client list includes stars like Harry Meade, William Fox-Pitt, Mary and Emily King and any more.
Part of my experience involves personal projects working as a media accredited photographer at Badminton, Burghley, World Equestrian Games (Normandy), the International Games (Germany), Blair Castle and countless other events around Europe. I captured the behind the scenes action at the lorries and stables and highlighted the true grit and determination of eventing. I have been commissioned countless times because of this unique take on eventing.
The commercial side of my business sees me supplying images for publications and country/equestrian brands, including Land Rover, Pol Roger, Cordings of Piccadilly, Country Life, Dodson and Horrell, Your Horse and Country, Burghley Life, Badminton Life, Wiltshire Life and many more.
My current private commissions hire me for a luxury photoshoot experience, beautiful lifestyle portraits and timeless images to cherish as heirlooms. My current clients spend between £2000 – £6000.
I have quietly been training some really talented up and coming equine photographers and feel that now is the time to start passing on my wealth of knowledge to a bigger audience. I am so excited to be joining as an associated trainer alongside Emily Hancock, and cannot wait to see the progress of anyone training with us.
